As a Data Governance Expert at Empresa Reconocida, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and adherence to global governance practices across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to promote data accuracy and drive acceptance of enterprise data standards and policies across various business segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and advise stakeholders on data governance-related matters in Consumer data, focusing on business use of the data.
Provide recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules, and policy (in conjunction with the Governance Council as appropriate).
Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure that any data-related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed to ensure adherence with the EDG established standards.
Represent market-specific needs in Sector data councils and above, ensuring local user needs are heard, met, and addressed.
Requirements:
6-8 years of experience in Data Governance or Stewardship role, with experience in Consumer data a plus.
Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the Consumer data domain.
Strong communication (written & verbal) skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others at all organization levels.
Ability to think beyond current state (processes, roles, and tools) and work towards an unconstrained, optimized design and translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements.
