Electrical Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric. As an Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the site works phase of projects, planning, coordinating, and monitoring site teams of field services engineers, installation teams, and sub-vendors for the installation and commissioning of Schneider Electric equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and monitor site teams for the installation and commissioning of Schneider Electric equipment.
- Act as the primary contact for customers and general contractors for all construction and commissioning field activities on the project.
- Attend daily site meetings, toolbox talks, and conduct task briefings with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare, monitor, and update detailed installation and commissioning schedules and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure commissioning activities are integrated into the overall project program.
- Oversee on-site works and teams of technicians to ensure they adhere to all health and safety regulations and HSE plans.
- Monitor works and provide weekly progress reports to Project Managers, collect timesheets, and organize daily reports.
- Manage and monitor day-to-day site activities, anticipate resource levels, and ensure timely and efficient execution of fieldwork.
- Ensure method statements are communicated, understood, acknowledged, and followed by all site staff.
- Direct other employees and contractors engaged in work on behalf of the company.
- Ensure all construction complies with design specifications and feedback to the design team for modifications.
- Identify problems with systems or products during installation and testing.
- Ensure all systems and equipment are properly installed, tested, and commissioned.
- Keep pace with change to identify and tackle on-site modifications and potential change orders in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Control the snags list until successful closure and prepare action plans to close snags.
- Prepare, review, and approve concise commissioning method statements where necessary.
- Complete necessary certificates for handover to clients and witness testing and associated documentation.
- Previous experience in managing and working with teams of contractors as a site manager or on-site project manager.
- Experience in Datacenter projects with major global customers in the business.
- Experience in Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear, UPS, EPMS, BMS, Cooling System.
- Experience in commissioning of electrical equipment and/or electro-mechanical systems.
- Assertive and strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Sensitive to developing and maintaining relationships with customers, general contractors, equipment suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Autonomous, decision-maker, and organized.
- Aware of quality, health, safety, and environmental matters related to works in hand.
- Ability to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and demanding environment.
- Ability to communicate (written, verbal) in a clear and synthetic manner on technical issues/topics.
English B2 & Español B2.
Diploma:Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Location:The position is based in Madrid, Spain.
