Electrical Site Manager Job Description

At Schneider Electric, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead our site works phase of the project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring site teams of field services engineers, installation teams, and sub-vendors for the installation and commissioning of Schneider Electric equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor site teams to ensure successful installation and commissioning of Schneider Electric equipment.
  • Act as the primary contact for the customer and general contractor for all construction and commissioning field activities on the project.
  • Attend daily site meetings, toolbox talks, and conduct task briefings with customers, contractors, and suppliers to protect company interests.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update detailed installation and commissioning schedules and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure commissioning activities are integrated into the overall project program.
  • Oversee on-site works and teams of technicians to ensure they adhere to all health and safety regulations and HSE plans.
  • Monitor works and provide weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, collect timesheets, and organize the daily report to identify performed activities, roadblocks, and downtime.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in managing and working with teams of contractors as a site manager or on-site project manager.
  • Experience in Datacenter projects with major global customers in the business.
  • Experience in Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear, UPS, EPMS, BMS, Cooling System.
  • Experience in commissioning of electrical equipment and/or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Assertive and strong stakeholder communication skills.
  • Sensitive to developing and maintaining relationships with customers, general contractors, equipment suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Autonomous, decision-maker, and organized.
  • Aware of quality, health, safety, and environmental matters related to the works in hand.
  • Ability to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and demanding environment.
