Job Title: Special Tests Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Tests Engineer to join our Testing Services team at Westinghouse Operating Plant Services.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading testing and maintenance activities in our Madrid Headquarters and at our Client's facilities. Our portfolio includes Nuclear Power Plants and other electrical generation plants and industrial facilities.

The Testing Services organization covers a wide range of technical areas of expertise, including electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation fields. Our scope also includes testing equipment development, maintenance, and calibration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and supervise maintenance and inspection/testing activities at Client's facilities and in headquarters.
  • Develop and write result reports, procedures, quality documentation, maintenance manuals, and other technical documents.
  • Analyze test results, perform calculations, and make improvement proposals.
  • Prepare technical tenders and manage testing equipment maintenance, calibration, and check-ups.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement process, including technology surveillance, self-training, and training junior personnel.
  • Over time, include project manager activities, such as organizing personnel, defining deadlines and priorities, and leading activities in the Plant and at Headquarters.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree (mechanical/electrical preferred, also electronics, instrumentation, etc. can be accepted).
  • Availability to travel to Client's facilities for outage projects, both nationally and internationally.
  • Spanish and English language proficiency (min B2 level).
  • Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, understanding of project priorities, and teamwork abilities.
  • Previous technical experience in industrial and nuclear fields, although not required, will be valued.
