Job Title: Strategic Territory Sales Representative

At Autodesk, we're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating new and expansion business in strategic territory accounts to meet financial and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create new and expansion business within strategic territory accounts, focusing on solid value for customers and Autodesk in the long term.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with other Autodesk sales teams and channel partners to grow the business relationship with assigned customers.
  • Work with our channel partners, technical sales, customer success, marketing, and field sales teams to develop account plans for high-priority accounts.
  • Evaluate customer profiles, create value messaging, and target key steps needed to accomplish account plans.
  • Foster important relationships within accounts, including Main Decision Makers, and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique value.
  • Work through organizations at all levels to seek sponsorship, including C-Level.
  • Be financially astute, skilled in ROI sales methodologies, value selling, and positioning value.
  • Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast of business.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams on appropriate and complimentary sales motions for renewal business within assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate deals and contracts at different levels within targeted accounts, either with or on behalf of channel partners.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies, such as TAS, Value Selling, and Solution Selling.
  • Familiarity with sales logging applications, such as Salesforce.
  • Management of difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive.
  • Inside sales/office-based sales experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
  • Drive to continually improve sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's sales career progression framework.
  • Experience with managing a portfolio of customers.
  • Ideal 4+ years of experience.
