Job Description

The Database Administrator role in the Database Services Team is responsible for delivering Oracle Database-related services for all applications within the IFS Cloud Suite. This includes:

  1. Database Operations

Follow established processes to support and maintain database services, ensuring high availability and performance.

  1. DBA Support

Act as a resource to help perform daily duties and address issues with client systems, providing expert guidance and support.

  1. Escalation Point

Serve as the final point of escalation for challenging database issues, working closely with internal and external teams to resolve problems.

  1. Backup Solutions

Implement and maintain backup solutions for the IFS Application suite, ensuring data integrity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in Oracle Database administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a 24/7 shift pattern.
