Job Summary:

The Senior Electrophysiology Field Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Farapulse (Pulsed Field Ablation System) and Rhythmia (mapping and navigation system used in EP procedures) during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations to educate customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse/Rhythmia devices.
  • Attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse/Rhythmia systems and its components.
  • Provide initial and continuous training and feedback for development team and sales representatives on Farapulse/Rhythmia, development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel to identify key decision makers and facilitate future sales.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies within Biomedical Sciences or a similar subject area.
  • Knowledge of intracardiac navigation and electrophysiology – at least 2 years of experience.
  • Professional industry experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  • Professional working proficiency language skills in both Spanish and English (at least B2). Additional language skills are appreciated.
  • Able to rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated and able to influence others.
  • Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload.
