Job Title: Senior Field Clinical Specialist, Electrophysiology

Location: Based in the Barcelona region, with a remote working schedule.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Clinical Specialist to join our team in the Barcelona region. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of our electrophysiology products, including the Farapulse and Rhythmia systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide primary clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs to educate customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of our electrophysiology products.
  3. Attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse/Rhythmia systems and its components.
  4. Provide initial and continuous training and feedback for development team and sales representatives on Farapulse/Rhythmia, development process, products, and features.
  5. Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and discuss and demonstrate how our products can help them achieve their goals.
  6. Develop relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  7. Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
Requirements:
  1. Successful completion of studies within Biomedical Sciences or a similar subject area.
  2. Knowledge of intracardiac navigation and electrophysiology, with at least 2 years of experience.
  3. Professional industry experience in a similar role.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  6. Professional working proficiency language skills in both Spanish and English (at least B2). Additional language skills are appreciated.
  7. Able to rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  8. Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  9. Self-motivated and able to influence others.
  10. Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
  11. Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload.
