Job Title: HR / Payroll Trainee

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual looking to develop your skills in payroll administration and labor management? We are seeking a highly motivated HR & Payroll Trainee to join our global Payroll & Compensation team in Spain.

About the Role:

As an HR & Payroll Trainee, you will support various administrative tasks and payroll processes while gaining exposure to other aspects of labor relations. Your mission will be to assist in processing the payroll and related tasks, providing required reports on payroll data, and supporting payroll inquiries to deliver excellent customer service to all employees.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection and final verification.
  • Support the preparation and review of employment contracts, employee onboarding, terminations, and contract modifications.
  • Help manage payroll-related issues such as overtime, leave, and absences.
  • Maintain and update employee databases and records.
  • Assist in creating reports and conducting labor cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and assist in preparing documentation for internal audits.
  • Participate in ongoing projects aimed at continuous improvement within the HR department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in RRLL or equivalent.
  • Proficient with Excel and Google sheets (formula, pivot table, vlookup, etc.).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail when working within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative and handle constantly evolving priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills. Problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong confidentiality approach in all assignments and information obtained.
  • Sympathy with and understanding of the Software environment.
  • Strong work ethic with a flexible approach to work along different time zones.
  • Focus on contributing to team success and helping the team win.
