Aroma Essential Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operations Manager to lead our Aroma Essential factory in Girona, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for overseeing all production activities at the site.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Factory Operations: Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the factory, aligning all processes and activities with our company's standards and goals.
- Lead Production and Maintenance Teams: Foster a productive and collaborative work environment, leading and managing the production and maintenance teams to achieve optimal results.
- Staff Management and Training: Ensure that staff are trained, motivated, and working in compliance with safety and operational guidelines, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Administrative and Logistics Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative matters related to the site, including interactions with local authorities, payroll management, accounting, customs, and shipping documentation.
- Production Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate the production schedule in close collaboration with the teams based in Grasse, ensuring that production timelines and targets are met.
- Supply Chain Management: Supervise the implementation of supply chain activities, including the management of supplies, order fulfillment, and sample shipments.
- Quality Control and CSR: Oversee the production process, ensuring that the highest quality standards are maintained, and establish and enforce required quality control and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Develop, optimize, and implement new processes and products, working closely with the Grasse teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Chemical Engineering Degree: Hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Production Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in production management within the chemical or related industries.
- Distillation and Extraction Techniques: Proficiency in distillation and extraction techniques.
- IT Proficiency: Comfortable working in a Windows-based IT environment.
- Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, with English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
- Organizational and Analytical Skills: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
