Job Summary:
Urbanasearch is seeking a seasoned Procurement Director to lead the development and implementation of a centralized sourcing strategy across its widely spread network. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive efficiency, integrity, and cost advantages through strategic procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Centralized Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with Urbanasearch's business goals, ensuring optimal supplier relationships and cost savings.
- Lead Procurement Team: Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team success.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders to review and consolidate supplier lists, ensuring improved governance and control.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet Urbanasearch's needs.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements:
- Procurement Experience: Proven track record of leading procurement and supplier management activities, driving excellence in procurement practices and optimizing supplier relationships.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with business goals.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
