About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Leader to join our team at 1011 Amadeus IT Group as an Associate Director, Head of Procurement. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping our procurement strategy and driving business value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Procurement Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  2. Lead Category Management: Oversee the development and implementation of category management strategies across various procurement categories, ensuring optimal value creation and risk management.
  3. Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, vendors, and other external partners.
  4. Drive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall procurement performance.
  5. Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
About You
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in procurement leadership, with a strong track record of driving business value and improving procurement performance.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvement and implement change.
  4. Language: Proficiency in English is required. Spanish and/or French is a plus.
