About the Role
The Procurement Trainee will support the Procurement Department in the Radisson Hotel Group, Madrid Office, in the Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Area. The successful candidate will assist in the implementation of approved procurement contracts, lead commercial negotiations, and draft contractual agreements with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of approved procurement contracts
- Lead commercial negotiations and draft contractual agreements with suppliers
- Perform financial analysis on supplier proposals and RFPs for various projects, products, and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to solve problems and guarantee high-quality, reliable sources of supply and information
- Facilitate communication with hotels, suppliers, and internal departments
- Assist in the processes for new supplier and product approvals
Requirements
- Interest in the procurement function
- Analytical mindset
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Highly organized, responsible, and accountable
- Resilient and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Fluent in English; Spanish and French are desired
- Eligible to work in Spain
- Being enrolled in a university
