About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Importante empresa. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and elevating the security across our environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement secure cloud architectures.
  2. Identify and mitigate security risks across our cloud infrastructure.
  3. Collaborate with security leadership, engineering, and compliance to execute security strategies.
  4. Develop and refine cloud security best practices.
  5. Provide security training and guidance for developer teams.
  6. Assess and improve our cloud security posture.
  7. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies.

Requirements

  1. 3-5+ years of experience working in a security engineering role.
  2. Experience deploying services in a multi-cloud environment.
  3. Experience deploying and customizing security tools such as vulnerability scanners, static analysers, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security monitoring.
  4. Experience developing software with object-oriented languages.
  5. Experience with database programming and administration.
  6. Experience with log management and/or correlation systems.
  7. Fluent in one or more programming or scripting languages.
  8. Thorough understanding of cloud and network security and web protocols.
  9. Knowledge of secure development lifecycle principles.
  10. Knowledge of modern cloud technology components and deployment patterns.
  11. Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  12. Leadership and communication skills, being able to elevate the work to senior management and influence senior stakeholders.
