We are seeking a reliable and efficient Post Room Courier to join our team at The Outsourced Recruitment Company. As a Post Room Courier, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting mail from various departments and units, ensuring timely and secure delivery of mail and packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect mail from departments and units
- Sort and distribute outgoing mail into various mail bags for collection by Royal Mail and Parcel Force
- Maintain the fleet vehicle in line with company processes and procedures
- Liaise with customers, the Authority, and other users to ensure excellent customer service
- Report all Health and Safety defects and near misses to the Helpdesk
Requirements:
- GCSE level (or equivalent) Grade C in English Language and Maths
- Full UK valid driving licence
- Experience working in a face-to-face customer service role and ability to be security cleared to 'SC' level
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with flexibility to prioritise work tasks
- Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and practical and proactive approach
