About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Marketing Director for Transit Services to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a key member of our global commercial strategy, you will be responsible for defining and leading the implementation of the marketing plan for our Transit Services Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining and leading the implementation of the marketing plan for Transit Services Group.
  • Driving market intelligence (customer needs, competition watch, market trends).
  • Defining the product/services go to market in alignment with services global commercial strategy, regions, and product management.
  • Achieving Transit Services Group Order Intake.
  • Leading innovation process.
  • Leading customer watch process and customer profiles/mapping updates.
  • Driving the Transit Services Group Sales process improvement and CRM implementation.
  • Animating Services sales community in the regions, ensuring best practices sharing and common processes.
  • Defining customer experience (tools, processes...) according to customer segmentation.
  • Providing inputs to Product Management and R&D in respect of market expectations.
  • Owning the Product Line Sales & Marketing budget (including central and local budgets).
  • Monitoring the market opportunities and tender's pipeline engaging with and supporting the regions to maximize orders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management/marketing in the Rail industry, specifically in maintenance and/or Transit operations activities.
  • Ability to work in a global and matrix environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking mindset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • CRM – Salesforce knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Full fluency in English required; an additional European language, notably French, Italian, German, or Spanish is a plus.

Location:

Europe, with easy access/vicinity to any of our sites in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom. Legal authorization to work in EU is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
