Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Category Buyer to join our Procurement Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing at least 3 categories on a global scope, including the Travel category, and other categories such as Workplace/Real Estate, Finance, Legal, HR, and consulting. This role will report to the Procurement Senior Lead Corporate Services & Travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Strategy
- Develop sourcing strategies to reduce total costs and risks
- Collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to achieve additional value and cost savings through negotiations
- Category Management
- Lead tenders/RFPs/RFQs to enforce Procurement category strategies
- Analyze category data and metrics to understand customers' needs and concerns
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Establish strong partnerships with internal business stakeholders and with suppliers
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management with strategic suppliers to improve supplier performance
- Travel & Expense Management
- Provide end-users assistance with travel tools and services queries
- Coordinate and enhance travel processes with other departments
- Analyze key T&E KPIs and performance metrics to identify new savings/services
