**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for implementing our global procurement strategy, ensuring the consistent availability and high service levels of raw materials.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term sourcing strategies based on category management and aligned with business needs.
- Act as the Raw Materials Buyer to ensure the availability and quality of materials needed to support production requirements.
- Oversee and manage projects focused on continuous improvement within the procurement process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, prioritizing local sourcing to support sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and terms.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies for subsidiaries, focusing on both local and global contracts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, conduct analyses to inform decision-making and strategy development, and monitor market trends to provide insights for procurement planning.
- Track worldwide commodity trends to anticipate changes and adjust sourcing strategies as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Commerce.
- Certification or advanced studies in Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related area is a plus.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
