Join Our Team as a Senior Procurement Specialist

At Open Cosmos, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and innovation. As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our supply chain strategy and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge procurement strategies for satellite subsystems, leveraging innovative technologies and partnerships.
  • Forge and nurture dynamic relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts that meet our needs and exceed expectations in quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with our engineering, project management, and quality assurance teams to ensure procurement aligns perfectly with project goals.
  • Conduct market research to discover new suppliers and stay ahead of industry trends, providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, implementing smart contingency plans to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance, making us more agile and effective.
Requirements:
  • Background in procurement, with a strong focus on satellite subsystems or aerospace components.
  • Technical knowledge of satellite systems and subsystems, with the ability to navigate technical specifications.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to connect with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proactive spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
