Job Title: Senior Specialist Global Trade Compliance

Organon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Global Trade Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our Global Logistics Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for import/export across different regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own policies, standards, and global import/export processes while driving continuous improvements and best practices.
  • Provide strategic and tactical stewardship for global trade compliance systems and processes to assigned markets, partners, and stakeholder groups.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of world-class import/export practices for translation to business optimization and efficiency opportunities.
  • Be the champion for import/export activities globally through improved trade cycles and compliance process effectiveness.
  • Drive 100% compliance with laws and regulations for import/export under a LEAN mindset.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Trade, Global Tax, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an import/export role with knowledge of trade compliance processes and the interplay with global supply chain.
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following regulatory environments: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and/or Health Care.
  • International trade business acumen including tariff classifications, customs valuation, license management, preferential origin determination, free trade agreements background.
