Job Title: HSE Coordinator France

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Coordinator to join our team at Eni Deutschland GmbH in France. As a key member of our HSEQ department, you will be responsible for creating a HSE service in France in line with the company's procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy for environmental permits related to projects/activities to be implemented, in collaboration with regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure that surveillance, mitigation, and compensation measures are correctly implemented and liaise with regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Conduct health, safety, and environmental assessments, audits, and inspections, focusing on environmental issues and basic health and safety matters.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and provide recommendations to operations and project development services in areas such as renewable energy, biodiversity management, waste management, water management, noise management, hazardous substances, and general environmental management.
  • In the event of HSE incidents, take immediate appropriate countermeasures, investigate, and write a report in accordance with the company's best practices and in coordination with the HSE department.
  • Implement environmental awareness campaigns to keep employees informed of risks.
  • Collaborate with competent functions (all company departments) to collect and analyze environmental data and feed internal and external environmental reports.
  • Monitor applicable environmental legislation to quickly identify any significant changes.
  • Perform environmental monitoring tasks to facilitate the production of renewable energy.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, or environment.
  • Experience in the wind or photovoltaic sector in France, with factual experience in managing environmental aspects of a project.
  • Knowledge and experience of international standards such as: ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001, quality auditor training, environmental or PRL auditor training.
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation in France, with a particular emphasis on environmental requirements.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in OFFICE software, MS PROJECT, MS Teams, GIS.
  • Advanced knowledge of English in terms of oral and written communication. Basic knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
  • Responsible person, showing initiative, goal-oriented, with leadership skills and communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage information from multiple installations and perform site visits if necessary.
  • Knowledge of the French language as a native language is required.
  • Ability to synthesize and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Driving license B1 and availability to make occasional trips in France and abroad.

Work Location:

You will be able to work in Madrid, Spain, or Paris.
