Cybersecurity Specialist
Location: Remote
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our secure IT environment. You will contribute to shaping and enhancing our defenses against emerging threats.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security events within our SIEM system.
- Analyze and respond to security alerts, events, and incidents in accordance with established playbooks, actively contributing to their refinement and optimization.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and automate response actions, increasing efficiency and efficacy.
- Assist in defining new use cases and implementing setup changes to bolster our security posture.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, documenting existing rules, scenarios, and attack patterns to continually enhance our security framework.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (e.g., IT-specialist with relevant cybersecurity expertise).
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in IT security, with a strong understanding of SOC processes and tooling.
- Profound interest in and understanding of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Exceptional English language skills, both written and verbal.
