Research Scientist in Biosensors for Bioengineering

Job Opportunity: The Biosensors for Bioengineering Group at Institute For Bioengineering Of Catalonia (Ibec) is seeking an Early Stage Researcher to contribute to the development of 3D skeletal muscle tissue integrated within microfluidic organ-on-chip devices.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and characterise 3D tissue co-cultures of skeletal muscle tissues from patient-derived cells.
• Design and fabricate microfluidic devices.
• Integrate the platform to drug testing assays.
Requirements:
• Degree in any field in Biomedical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in cell culture and Molecular Biology.
• Experience in microfabrication techniques will be a plus.
• Experience in microphysiological systems and tissue engineering will be a plus.
