Junior Legal Counsel

This is a hybrid role based in our Barcelona or Madrid office, where we encourage our teams to join us in office at least 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on matters related to data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, terms of service, and data processing agreements.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and support the implementation of privacy by design and default principles.
- Monitor regulatory developments in privacy law and update internal stakeholders on compliance requirements.
- Provide legal support for contract management and ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, and other governance documents.
- Assist in corporate compliance and governance activities, including annual filings, shareholder communications, and regulatory reporting.
- Provide legal support for corporate matters and assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide clear and concise legal advice to internal teams, including commercial, marketing, product development, and IT.
- Prior experience working in a corporate legal setting, preferably with a focus in privacy, data protection, commercial contracts, corporate law or governance.
- Experience within the AdTech industry or Technology sectors is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a evolving and dynamic environment.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt responsibilities as needed.
- Hold strong professional integrity and ethical standards.
- Ability to work across multiple tasks with various stakeholders, holding and meeting deadlines.
