Job Title: Application Implementation Specialist for Spain

ADP provides payroll management and HR outsourcing services to clients. To deliver exceptional service, our team requires a large number of customer service professionals and a product that serves both external and internal users who execute the entire payroll process, personnel administration, and management with third parties such as Social Security, Taxes, etc.

Role Objective:

The Implementation Application Specialist works closely with the Implementation Consultant and is responsible for configuring the tools to process Payroll and HR services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review requirements gathering documents (Blueprint) to assess complexity and time dedication.
  2. Set up the payroll engine following the requirements gathering document.
  3. Perform initial testing to ensure correct configuration of the payroll engine.
  4. Make corrections, updates, or new configurations that may appear during the U.A.T phase.
  5. Identify new improvements, document them, and request standard configurations or new developments to the R&D department.
  6. Analyze issues, provide immediate issue resolution after root cause analysis, and suggest long-term improvements.
  7. Write technical documentation.

Requirements:

  1. 2 to 3 years of experience in programming (Java,.NET, C+, COBOL), with experience in implementing Payroll Software (e.g., Meta4, SAP, A3, etc.).
  2. Knowledge of Payroll and HR applications/programs.
  3. Experience with project management and teamwork (Agile methodology).
  4. Experience with Testing and Production environments.
  5. Agile methodology experience.
  6. Functional knowledge of payroll.

Abilities and Knowledge:

  1. Analytical and resolution-oriented.
  2. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  3. Strong capacity for teamwork.
  4. Capacity to work under pressure.
  5. Capacity to write technical documentation.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment.
  7. Knowledge of Spanish labor legislation, social security, taxes (plus).
  8. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  1. Graduate in Labor Relations or Higher Degree.
  2. Project Management Certification (desired).

Languages:

  1. Spanish (native).
  2. English (intermediate / functional).
