About the Role:

Reconocida Empresa is seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Operations Specialist to join our operations team. As a Datacenter Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure and delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain customer equipment, intra-cage fiber tray, ladder rack, customer equipment, and cabinets, as well as infrastructure installs such as whalebone cable management, public fiber tray systems, carrier ladder rack, AC/DC power trays, security trays, and cash mesh.
  • Queue Management: Determine work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensure adherence to all commit times.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct carrier circuit testing and identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Cross Connects: Install, test, and modify cross connects per SOPs and ensure proper cable management of coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connects.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed written records of all work activity.
  • Projects: Support the fulfillment of projects with direction from senior staff.
  • Training: Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Customer Management: Support customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a high school diploma and proven years of equivalent experience preferred.
