Quality Assurance Manager

Altair Engineering is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our team in Toledo, OH. This is a contract position that requires a strong background in quality control and assurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day quality control and inspection activities to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Supervise hourly and salaried employees, including direct and indirect supervision.
- Conduct daily audits across all shifts to identify and address quality issues.
- Develop and implement vehicle control plans to prevent defects and ensure quality products.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Provide training and coaching to employees on quality procedures and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-effective error/mistake proofing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Two years of quality-related experience, preferably in manufacturing or assembly plant settings.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and support meetings at all levels of the company.
- Experience with computer systems and software, including MS Office or Google Office.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data, with a strong understanding of statistics and quality metrics.
