At Damco Spain Sl, we are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing our company's People Strategy through top-notch administrative support for the organization.
About the Position
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for implementing essential HR processes within their specific functional domain. This includes supporting People Partners in managing all processes of Employee Lifecycle, including on-boarding and promotions/transfers/terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, and employee relations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support People Partners in managing all processes of Employee Lifecycle, including on-boarding and promotions/transfers/terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, and employee relations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while upholding best practices for sustained compliance.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, performance management, leave policies, payroll, HR applications, and other aspects related to the employee lifecycle.
- Give on-site support to employees, offering caring and attention.
- Manage Off Roll employee recruitment, including coordinating with Vendors & Hiring Managers.
- Collaborate and support on a range of employee engagement activities with stakeholders to boost retention and engagement levels.
- Encourage the utilization of the employee HR Portal by offering guidance on HR knowledge content, such as global and local HR policies, procedural instructions, and more.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, such as HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar, with a focus on employee lifecycle management, compliance, and employee engagement.
- Experience in manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industries (highly desirable), supporting employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Relevant education in Human Resources or related fields.
- English proficiency (intermediate to advanced level).
- Strong proficiency in Excel for KPI reporting and project management.
- Experience working with Workday or similar ATS systems.
