**Job Summary**
Global Payments, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Research and Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for researching and resolving customer requests related to cardholder and corporate accounts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Research and respond to customer inquiries via various channels, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, and industry rules and regulations.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of banking products and services to research, update, and document cardholder accounts.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud, credit, collection, and chargeback issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist with routine updates and documentation of cardholder and corporate accounts, including name/address changes and returned mail.
- Validate report disputes from credit bureau systems and follow client policies and procedures.
**Requirements:**
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Typically no relevant experience required
**Desired Skills and Capabilities:**
- Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks.
- Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision-making outside of stated processes.
- Frequent written and verbal communication with cardholders, clients, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations, client policies, and industry compliance.
