Job Summary:

As a Loss Recovery Specialist at Global Payments, Inc., you will play a critical role in reviewing and researching delinquent accounts to inform customers of their outstanding balances. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve a working list of all items in collection to Global Payments under a high-stress environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and research delinquent accounts to determine the appropriate approach and established plans to collect the outstanding balance.
• Negotiate payment options with delinquent customers while following various applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assess vulnerabilities through effective investigation of accounts with existing debt and make effective decisions on future steps regarding collections.
• Reserve and release merchant funds where appropriate.
• Process Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and wires for merchants as needed.
• Provide customer service to cardholders for basic customer inquiries and maintain the integrity of the client as well as the integrity of Global Payments.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to comprehend numerical and financial data.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills with a high degree of confidence and professional maturity.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree
