The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable processes to support business technology developments. In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for an authentic people leader who can mentor and develop their team. The team will be based across the US and EMEA, and you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's IT strategy.
This is a hybrid role based in our Barcelona office, and relocation is considered. As an IT Director, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team that operates with a customer-centric mindset, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor a team of Production Support analysts, including performance management and goal setting, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Process Development: Define and enable Incident Management, Problem Management, and Knowledge Management processes with an ITIL mindset, ensuring that our team is equipped to handle complex issues efficiently.
- Service Level Agreements (SLA): Establish, monitor, and report on the team's SLA/SLO, ensuring that we meet our commitments to our customers.
- Automation and Innovation: Bring an automation-first mindset to solving business problems, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that the resolution of customer issues is within defined SLA, assess customer satisfaction using feedback loops, and make data-driven decisions to improve our services.
- Capacity Management: Build capacity management to support the demand on the team, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and measure ticket volumes, look for trends with a continuous improvement mindset, and develop strategies to reduce ticket volumes and improve resolution times.
- Release and Environment Management: Define standards of practices for Release and Environment management, ensuring that our team follows best practices to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
