Senior Financial Director

Pacific International Executive Search is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our client's team in Spain. As a leading retained executive search firm, we empower Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and high-growth enterprises to build exceptional leadership teams.
The ideal candidate will oversee the financial aspects of a company acquisition, ensuring a smooth integration into our client's structure and culture. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Financial Planning: Align financial strategies with the company's overall business objectives, focusing on growth in digital and service sectors.
- Financial Management: Create and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth and M&A activities.
- Due Diligence: Lead financial due diligence processes, assessing potential acquisition targets and evaluating their financial health.
- Integration Planning: Develop and execute integration plans for newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth financial and operational transitions.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (IFRS, HGB, US GAAP, Spanish GAAP).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
- Capital Expenditure: Manage capital expenditure, ensuring investments are aligned with strategic objectives and yield expected returns.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, operations, and sales, to support digital and service initiatives.
- Financial Communication: Communicate financial insights and strategies to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and investors.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes in digital and service areas.
- 10 years of experience in finance overseeing all financial aspects (tax, accounting, controlling, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, etc).
