Job Summary:

Pacific International Executive Search is seeking a seasoned Strategic Finance Director to join our client's team in Spain. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, ensuring financial stability, and overseeing the integration of newly acquired companies.

About the Role:

  • Align financial strategies with the company's overall business objectives, focusing on growth in digital and service sectors.
  • Create and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth and M&A activities.
  • Lead financial due diligence processes, assessing potential acquisition targets and evaluating their financial health.
  • Develop and execute integration plans for newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth financial and operational transitions.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (IFRS, HGB, US GAAP, Spanish GAAP).
  • Ensure adherence to local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage capital expenditure, ensuring investments are aligned with strategic objectives and yield expected returns.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, operations, and sales, to support digital and service initiatives.
  • Communicate financial insights and strategies to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and investors.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes in digital and service areas.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in finance overseeing all financial aspects (tax, accounting, controlling, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, etc).
