Chief Financial Officer

Pacific International Executive Search is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our client's team in Spain. As a dynamic and strategic Finance Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of a company acquisition and overseeing the integration process.

• Financial Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with the company's leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the overall business objectives, focusing on growth in digital and service sectors.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Create and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth and M&A activities.
• Due Diligence and Integration: Lead financial due diligence processes, assessing potential acquisition targets and evaluating their financial health. Develop and execute integration plans for newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth financial and operational transitions.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (IFRS, HGB, US GAAP, Spanish GAAP).
• Financial Governance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international financial regulations and standards. Manage capital expenditure, ensuring investments are aligned with strategic objectives and yield expected returns.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial insights and strategies to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and investors.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes in digital and service areas.

• 10 years of experience in finance overseeing all financial aspects (tax, accounting, controlling, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, etc).
