Job Title: Operations Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Technician to join our team at Chubb. As an Operations Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our insurance business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage user system maintenance within agreed SLAs, including set-up of new access, amendments, and access removal.
  • Manage system set-up of new products and associated policy documentation/invoice production within agreed SLAs and quality standards.
  • Own and maintain relevant systems that the products are being managed on, including template management, product and code mappings, segment references, and linkage with relevant teams to ensure appropriate interfaces to back-end systems and processes.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of processes and adopt an ethos of continuous review to improve, error-proof, automate, simplify, clarify, and eradicate any non-value process steps.
  • Manage Broker Network set-up and maintenance, including granting new access, amendments, and access removal, and providing Broker Assistance.
  • Manage and respond within SLA to all general Broker correspondence received through local mailbox accounts.
  • Manage manual processing of any system fall-outs within SLA.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the system landscape, review, and identify inconsistencies to maintain data quality.
  • Keep current on all relevant product knowledge to SME products that are managed on Ignite/ICT and be a subject matter expert.
  • Proactively gain and develop knowledge of all relevant lines of business to facilitate accurate processing for both retained and outsourced work elements.
  • Review and monitor all outsourced work elements, identify type and frequency of problems or inefficiencies, track root cause analysis of rework, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Produce relevant SOX reporting (including outsourced partners processed business) for Team Leader sign-off.
  • Undertake audits and Quality Control checking of outsourced and retained work elements to evidence the service being provided.
  • Take personal responsibility for the Quality Control of own and outsourced work elements to ensure that the highest standards of delivery are achieved.
  • Triage, investigate, and resolve credit control queries within SLA.
Requirements:
  • Dutch (native or bilingual).
  • English professional, advanced level.
  • Experience within a Processing role is essential, particularly experience of following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting, etc., all functions related to the policy cycle.
  • Previous Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
