Underwriting Operations Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Operations Technician to join our Nordics team based in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will provide consistent and efficient end-to-end support for online & offline business handled in the UWR Centre, as well as support for language-dependent tasks in the branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Entering data into underwriting and various other systems required to track business.
  • Bespoke certificates.
  • Sanction checks.
  • Broker contact management.
  • Support project-related tasks.
  • Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Handling internal and external inquiries.
  • Credit control resolution.
Requirements:
  • Native or advanced level in Swedish and/or Danish.
  • Professional language skills in English.
  • Previous experience in an underwriting support role is a plus.
  • Insurance background is preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office - especially Excel.
  • Strong customer service skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver and improve quality.
  • Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
