Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Atg Europe. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in welding activities, non-destructive tests, dimensional and visual examinations, leak tests, and other manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Verify and enforce compliance with approved procedures, and support in the reporting of non-compliances.
- Support in the review of test reports, and ensure that reports are issued on time and follow the required review processes.
- Assist in the review of end of manufacturing reports, and support in the technical review of manufacturing procedures.
- Monitor manufacturer's progress in relation to the corresponding schedule, providing early warning in case of deficiencies or slippage.
- Provide inputs to update the internal working schedules, and assist in the review of end of manufacturing reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Nuclear Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in the follow-up of the manufacturing of mechanical components under a Quality Management System.
- Experience in the use of codes and standards used for the design and manufacturing of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, etc.).
- Knowledge of specifying process equipment, pressure vessels, big exchangers, etc.
- Knowledge of working with the associated equipment data sheets (from a list of equipment from a PID).
- Experience in the organisation of the production for the manufacturing of mechanical components.
- Experience in the definition and/or qualification of joining techniques for mechanical components.
- Experience in the design, manufacturing, and/or testing of engineering systems to be used under vacuum and/or for cryogenic applications.
- Experience in non-destructive testing (RT, PT, VT, UT, etc.).
