Business Intelligence Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Hero Gaming. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using SQL and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement business intelligence solutions by developing and maintaining reports and dashboards according to business owners' requirements.
  • Develop workflows to automate reporting processes and build interactive tools that allow stakeholders to configure report parameters.
  • Act as a business intelligence subject matter expert by supporting colleagues in the creation of visualizations, and the use and interpretation of data.
  • Train end users and write documentation on the use of data tools to help them become self-sufficient.
  • Liaise with the Data Warehouse team to develop and implement business intelligence strategies and processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, or operations research.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations / dashboards based on large data sets and / or working with complex queries.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for reporting.
  • Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.

Nice to Have Requirements:

  • Experience within the iGaming industry.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
  • Knowledge of using web APIs, web scraping, data cleaning, and writing simple ETL scripts.
