Job Title: Video Game Translator: Japanese To Italian

About Us: Localsoft, S.L. is a leading provider of localization services, offering translation, testing, and audio services to clients across various industries, including games, IT, legal, and business.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Japanese to Italian video game translator to join our team in Málaga, Spain. As a video game translator, you will be responsible for localizing games to the highest quality standards, working in a multicultural and dynamic office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in temporary in-house AAA game translation projects
  • Translate Japanese content into Italian with high accuracy and quality
  • Meet deadlines and follow established processes and project instructions
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project completion
  • Adhere to Localsoft's confidentiality and security policy

Requirements:

  • Japanese working proficiency
  • Excellent native language skills
  • University degree in Translation
  • 2+ years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry or 5+ years of experience in a similar field
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic, and deadline-driven office environment
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • IT literacy: Microsoft Office suite and CAT tool
