Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Japanese to French video game translator to join our team in Málaga, Spain. As a video game translator, you will be responsible for localizing games to the highest quality standards, working closely with our team to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate video games from Japanese to French, adhering to the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate with the localization team to ensure timely project delivery
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions to ensure understanding of project requirements
  • Develop and maintain glossaries and style guides for consistency
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:

  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese and French
  • 2+ years of experience in video game localization or a related field
  • University degree in Translation or a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAT tools
