Job Opportunity at Localsoft

Localsoft, a world-class localization company, is seeking an experienced English to French (EU) video game translator to join our team in Málaga, Spain.

We are looking for a skilled translator with excellent linguistic abilities and experience in video game localization projects. As a video game translator, you will be responsible for localizing games to the highest quality standards, ensuring that the translated content is accurate, engaging, and meets the requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate video game content from English to French with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations
  • Collaborate with other translators and localization experts to achieve project goals
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of translation quality

Requirements:

  • Excellent English and French language skills, with a strong understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural differences
  • At least 2 years of experience in video game localization or a related field
  • University degree in Translation or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAT tools
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with tight deadlines
