About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bridges and Structures Engineer to join our team in Poland/Spain. As a key member of our Europe Global Delivery Center, you will work on a wide range of projects, including iconic transportation projects, and collaborate with a diverse and multicultural team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a bridges and structures team, undertaking non-routine, medium complex projects supported by EC.
  • Coordinate and lead small design teams focused on structural design for specific projects.
  • Conduct noncomplex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Work autonomously within established procedures, with latitude to determine work priorities.
  • Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews.
  • Ensure that project technical goals, milestones, and budgets are met.
  • Prepare complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff, providing supervision to and mentoring less experienced staff.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of working on bridges and/or structures designs with some experience working with international and multi-cultural teams (+5 years).
  • Experience with international standards (i.e AASTHO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.).
  • Proficiency in engineering software for bridge and structures (preferable Midas Civil, but others as CSiBridge, SAP2000, etc. are well considered).
  • Experience working in the North America/ANZ region will be considered favorably.
  • Ability to solve complex issues with limited direction on the bridges and/or structures field.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master degree in Civil Engineering.
