We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team at Importante Empresa. As a key member of our Bridges division, you will play a crucial role in supporting a growing workload of exciting bridge projects located in the UK and around the world.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide specialist input or support to projects, working closely with Project Managers and Project Directors.
- Deliver high-quality technical solutions, leveraging your expertise in structural behaviours, analytical and structural engineering, and bridge and heavy civil engineering structures.
- Collaborate with clients to communicate effectively and provide innovative solutions that meet their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry codes and standards, including Eurocodes, and contribute to the development of new and innovative approaches.
**Requirements**
- Strong practical and relevant experience in the bridges industry.
- Good Civil/Structural Engineering degree (honours or equivalent).
- Chartered with a relevant professional institution or equivalent.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
**Desirable Skills**
- Experience in the analysis and design of cable-supported bridges and structures.
- A highly innovative approach and ability to work from first principles.
