Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Technician to support our research projects in Genomics and Epigenetics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, cell culture, and proteomics. The role will involve performing a range of technical tasks, including chromatin extraction, sample preparation, and molecular analysis. The candidate will also contribute to the development of new research projects and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform chromatin extraction and sample preparation for proteomics and western blot analysis
- Conduct cloning, cell culture, qPCR, ChIPseq, and immunofluorescence experiments
- Assist project leaders in conducting experiments and analyzing data
- Develop and maintain high-quality research protocols and procedures
- Contribute to the development of new research projects and protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a research technician in a molecular biology laboratory
- Proven experience in cell culture, cloning, western blot, and qPCR
- Experience in chromatin proteomics and immunofluorescence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
