Job Title: Senior On Road Logistics Manager

As a Senior On Road Logistics Manager at Engineeringuk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Amazon's last mile logistics. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and selecting suppliers for new and existing business
  • Managing relationships with delivery service partners (DSPs) and ensuring they are ready to deliver during peak periods
  • Monitoring performance and quality figures, and developing action plans to address challenges
  • Negotiating rates with DSPs and working with data to identify trends and improve metrics
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of people management experience
  • Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Excellent English and Spanish language skills
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations and account/supplier management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or equivalent
  • SQL/Data Analysis Skills
