Job Description

Job Title: Senior On Road Logistics Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior On Road Logistics Manager to join our team at Engineeringuk. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing our last mile logistics suppliers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of logistics suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and service standards.
  • Negotiate and review contracts with our delivery service partners to ensure we get the best rates and services.
  • Monitor performance and quality metrics and develop action plans to improve them.
  • Work with data to identify trends and generate initiatives to improve metrics such as attrition, on-time delivery, and DPMO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch improvements and new last mile models.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations and account/supplier management.
  • Working experience in relevant industries, preferably in the ecommerce logistics sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leadership roles.
  • SQL/Data Analysis Skills.
