Embedded Linux Software Engineer Opportunity

Analog Devices is seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our customer-facing solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing embedded device drivers and BSPs, collaborating with hardware teams, and providing technical support to our global customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, and maintain Linux device drivers and software projects for embedded systems, processors, and microcontroller-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with Linux mainline maintainers to get your drivers accepted.
  • Work closely with the hardware team to develop new platforms.
  • Provide customer support through Linux subsystem mailing lists and the ADI Engineer Zone forum.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in embedded Linux device drivers and software.
  • Good experience with at least one of the following subsystems: IIO, V4L, ALSA, Ethernet.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with software development languages, including C, C++, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with SCM (svn, git), cross compiler, and in-circuit debugging tools.
  • Excellent software design, problem-solving, and analytical debugging skills.
  • Good understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to comprehend large and complex technical documentation.
