Key Responsibilities- Support the Site Management and EHS Manager in achieving EHS results by implementing EHS policies and procedures, and improving EHS performance.
- Advise and support operational management in the implementation of EHS actions to achieve Alstom EHS objectives.
- Develop and deploy the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom Transport strategy and objectives.
- Monitor and coordinate the deployment of the EHS plan, and ensure that EHS Risk Assessments are conducted and risks are controlled.
- Prepare and implement emergency plans at Site level, and ensure that activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS.
- Have full authority to stop any operational activity resulting in an immediate high risk to People or the Environment.
- Advise Site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities, and recognize best practices and good performance.
- Perform EHS audits of subcontractors, and develop and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System.
- Ensure that Alstom EHS standards, tools, and other environmental campaigns are deployed at Site level.
- Assist the Site EHS Manager to ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines, and work instructions.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation of the Site, and ensure the coordination of business activities in site.
- Develop EHS culture in the site by informing, instructing, and training employees to carry out work in a safe and environment-friendly mode.
- Report, measure, and review EHS performance, and ensure that accidents/incidents are prevented, reported, recorded, investigated, and analyzed.
- University Engineer or Business Degree.
- University master's degree in Risk Prevention (3 specialities).
- Professional experience between 3 and 5 years, in Environment, Health & Safety Dpt. in big industrial manufacturing site (> 500 headcount) with EHS operational responsibilities.
- English fluent level.
- Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO45001, and OHSAS18001.
- Desirable ISO 50001.
- Deep knowledge of legal EHS requirements.
- Desirable chemical knowledge.
- Responsible, dependable, and ethical.
- Solid capable person, with a strong initiative.
