Position Overview:
We are seeking a Cluster CFO to be based in either Spain or Italy, providing support to our operations across Iberia, Italy, the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic, and Réunion. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of ArcelorMittal Construction and will be required to travel frequently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial performance and assist cluster management and entity CEOs with essential economic and financial analyses for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Engage in business partnering with the AMC CFO and entity CEOs to enhance operational and strategic financial management.
- Monitor and report on the company's operating results monthly, including account closures, management indicators, and cost control across all entities within the region.
- Supervise and develop the skills of entity controlling and finance teams through training, performance management, and career planning.
- Align forecasting results by preparing annual budgets and objectives, updating monthly forecasts, and monitoring variances in collaboration with regional entities and Cluster CEOs.
- Implement and ensure adherence to the accounting and financial procedures established by the ArcelorMittal group across all entities.
- Lead the risk management process, focusing on internal and external controls across relevant entities.
- Oversee the customer credit team to ensure compliance with customer credit and collection policies.
Candidate Profile:
- Fluency in English, with advanced proficiency in Spanish and Italian (mandatory); knowledge of French and Portuguese is advantageous.
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Auditing.
- Over 10 years of experience in a multinational finance role.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
- Self-motivated, innovative, results-driven, and a strategic thinker.
- Advanced skills in reporting and presentation.
- Exceptional communication abilities across all organizational levels.
- Able to perform under pressure with strong financial acumen.
- Highly organized with a proven track record in similar roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Capable of navigating a multinational environment and fostering collaboration between departments and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with virtual teams without direct reporting lines is essential.
- Hands-on approach to leadership.
