Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join our Finance team at OneTrust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the recovery of past due receivables.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, following up on past due invoices and resolving disputes through effective communication and negotiation.
- Quickly address invoice discrepancies and payment disputes, ensuring accurate records and timely customer payments.
- Document and follow up on collection activities in our ERP system, maintaining accurate records and escalating issues as necessary.
- Proactively identify payment issues and work with internal teams and customers to resolve them, maintaining a positive and service-oriented attitude.
- Verify and update accounts payable contacts, using skip tracing as needed, and participate in portfolio reviews with the AR Manager.
- A related Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with 3+ years of experience in collections or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a B2B environment, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Professional English communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well with teams and clients.
- Experience with Salesforce and ERP systems, such as Workday, is a plus, as is fluency in German or other European languages.
